Best dressed at the 2012 Golden Globes!

Awards season is finally upon us again and tonight it was The Golden Globes. Here are my favourite 10 dresses from the red carpet, plus my man and couple of the evening. These are just my own personal choices but I would love to hear who you would've chosen, so please feel free to leave a comment at the bottom.

Ariel Winter
I love the bold colour of this Dolce & Gabbana dress. It has a certain Grease prom feel to it and the black bow heels are cute too.

Claire Danes
Claire looks so elegant in this J.Mendel gown. It looks very Chanel-esque with the simple monochrome colours.

Zooey Deschanel
Absolutely love this Prada number. Zooey has finished the retro vibe with 60's style flicked hair and thick eyeliner.

Rooney Mara
Rooney is very much keeping to her dark style from the Dragon Tattoo promo tour she's recently been on. This Nina Ricci ensemble hangs beautifully from her skinny frame.

Angelina Jolie
Keeping it simple and glamorous in an Atelier Versace garment. It's Jolie's striking makeup which really appealed to me most.

Lea Michele
I love Lea's sultry front in this design by Marchesa. It's a very daring move for the Gleek and the emerald green ring brings a flash of colour to complete this outfit.

Helen Mirren
No one does seductive elegance quite like Dame Helen. The textured skirt adds some fun and I love the jewelled waist.

Emma Stone
Emma keeps in cool in some Lanvin. She gives it a rockier edge with the eagle belt and dark eyes. The dark berry colour really compliments her pale skin tone.

Evan Rachel Wood
This is such a dramatic look and Evan just oozes confidence in it. The colour is beautiful and who doesn't look feathers?

Madonna & Andrea Riseborough
So when I said I had picked 10 dresses, I lied, but Madonna and Andrea just look so great together, I couldn't help myself. I love how they're wearing opposites of each other. Madonna's Reem Acra dress is dark and structured with the square texture, whereas Andrea's is lighter in colour and material with delicate floral lace on the skirt of her Vivienne Westwood gown.

Man of the evening - Gerard Butler
Chosen purely on the basis he's wearing a three piece suit and Lord knows I love a man in a waistcoat. I love how he's kept the beard slightly scruffy to tone down his swanky red carpet look.

Couple of the evening - Harrison Ford & Calista Flockhart
Quite possibly one of my most favourite couples ever. Just the way he's looking at her makes me green with envy. Calista is so radiant standing next to Harrison.
